Introduction

Hello! I am James Hall and this is my project for a company called Totally Tech. This project is a website to provide you with information about Minecraft, the website is designed to be easily navigated, simple to use and educational all at once. The different aspects of the game will be split into different pages labelled according to their differences like how the page ‘items’, which are different objects that can be found in the game will be in a different page than ‘mechanics’, which are sets of movements that can be used to achieve actions to help you in the game.

Game Overview:

Minecraft is a pay to play game costing £20-£40 depending on the version you want. It is an Indie sandbox and/or survival game that can be used to build whatever the player imagines but also includes bosses to defeat.

There are many online servers made by the current owners of Minecraft (Microsoft and Mojang) that come with the game once signed in, or other players that made custom servers. Younger players should stick to the pre-provided servers without typing or looking at the chat function.

There are 2 versions of Minecraft: bedrock, available on all devices, and Java, available on PC and other computers. There are many smaller differences between the 2 but the main one is the customisation, on Java it’s much wider as it isn’t on console.
